Shandong Airlines' first 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) delivery ceremony was held. Shandong Airlines said that after the delivery of this freighter, Shandong Airlines will build a network of passenger and cargo routes with Jinan and Qingdao as the main hub bases, facing Japan and South Korea, and covering Asia's international freighter routes.
Shandong Airlines' first 737-800BCF entered the Civil Aviation Administration's official supplementary operation certification stage on August 26 and is expected to be officially put into operation on September 26 after the CAAC's review and certification.
According to Boeing, the completion and delivery of Shandong Airlines' first B737-800 freighter mark that Shandong Airlines has become the first large domestic airline to operate this type of aircraft.
