Recently, NVIDIA released the RTX 4090 graphics card, and the official website marked the GPU Bosst frequency as 2.52GHz. But in a "Cyberpunk 2077" demo video released by NVIDIA, the actual frequency exceeds 2.8GHz. According to foreign media reports, NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun has been suggesting that the RTX 4090 can reach 3.0 GHz in internal overclocking tests, but there is no more evidence yet. If the RTX 4090 can default to 2.8 GHz when running games, then 3GHz should be easy to achieve.
NVIDIA's official website has now launched detailed parameter information for three RTX 40 series graphics cards.
As shown in the figure above, the first three graphics cards of the RTX 40 are 16384 CUDA, 9728 CUDA, and 7680 CUDA. Under the blessing of TSMC's 4N process, the acceleration frequency exceeds 2.5GHz, which is a significant improvement over the previous generation of Samsung's 8nm process.
In terms of performance, Nvidia claims that the RTX 4090 with DLSS 3 is up to 4x faster than the previous-generation RTX 3090 Ti with DLSS 2 in full ray-traced games. In modern games, the RTX 4090 delivers up to 2x faster performance while maintaining the same 450W power consumption.
The suggested retail price of the NVIDIA RTX 4090 flagship graphics card starts at 12,999 yuan and will be available on October 12.
