Eight minutes from Genshin Impact on the PS5

miHoYo has released an eight-minute gameplay video from the PlayStation 5 version of Genshin Impact, due out on April 28.

According to the studio, the PlayStation 5 hardware is the ideal platform for playing Genshin Impact. Thanks to this, the world of Teyvat is even more detailed, more lively, and can draw you even more. That's also why the PS5 version is coming out so soon [even before the long-promised Switch version - note. author].

At the same time, we are now working on miHoYo to develop various other features to enable them to take the full and long-term potential of this console. For example, there was a complete overhaul of the graphics library from scratch. They have also created a new file loading system to take advantage of the PlayStation 5's SSDs. Future updates should therefore have much greater potential for increased visual quality and performance. In addition, the PlayStation 5 lets you enjoy all the details in native 4K resolution. And if you have an HDR display, you can enjoy an even livelier world. SSDs also have the great advantage of teleporting from one location to another. It will only take a few seconds.

The DualSense controller can respond more intensely to the gaming world, and because it uses very different technologies and reworked the miHoYo controller support, they can be used to their full potential. You may notice that the vibrations of the DualSense driver will be different from the vibrations of the original version of the game.

For the PlayStation 5 version, miHoYo has also prepared an exclusive version of Qingyun Peak. The top of the mountain has become one of the most popular places in the game, so the creators decided to prepare a surprise for it.

Genshin Impact is now available for PlayStation 4, for PC and iOS via the App Store and for Android via Google Play. A version for Switch is also planned.
