Cygames announced at the Anime Expo 2023 in Los Angeles that the development of the action RPG game "Granblue Fantasy Relink" is nearing completion.
The game is based on the popular mobile game "Granblue Fantasy" and features a 3D cel-shaded graphics style. Players will be able to control a variety of characters from the game, including Gran, Djeeta, and Lyria, as they battle their way through a variety of stages.
The game was originally announced in 2016 and was scheduled to be released in 2018. However, the release date was pushed back several times due to development delays.
In the latest update, Cygames said that the development of the game is "close to completion" and that new information will be announced in August. The company also said that the game will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
"Granblue Fantasy Relink" is a highly anticipated game by fans of the "Granblue Fantasy" franchise. The game's cel-shaded graphics and action-packed gameplay have drawn comparisons to other popular action RPGs such as "NieR: Automata" and "Genshin Impact."
With the game's development nearing completion, fans can now look forward to its release in August.
