BAIC Blue Valley has now released a report on its subsidiary's automobile production and sales data in September. In September of this year, BAIC New Energy produced a total of 2,260 vehicles, compared with 609 in the same period last year; this year, it produced 13,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 266.66%. At the same time, 4,279 cars were sold in September, compared with 2,450 in the same period last year; the cumulative sales of cars this year were 28,700, a year-on-year increase of 69.05%.
In August this year, Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. sold 3,766 vehicles, compared with 4,074 vehicles in the same period last year; this year, the total number of vehicles was 24,416, a year-on-year increase of 68.11%.
BAIC Blue Valley stated that the sales included some cooperative models jointly developed by Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. and Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd., produced by Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd., and sold by Beijing New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. to the outside world.
BAIC New Energy was founded in 2009 and is a new energy vehicle company initiated and controlled by Beijing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. For comparison, BAIC New Energy sold 3,640 vehicles in July, a year-on-year increase of 4.27%.
